Hatch-Along - Eggs set in November, due December, anyone?

Great pictures, Chicknlove! It's so cool when you can see them moving. Hopefully on Friday (or Thursday) I will be able to get some good pictures of mine. Question: If the embryos make it past day 10, will their chance of survival be greater? This is the time my last two batches of eggs all died, and I really don't want them all to die like last time.

I'm a worry- freak. XD

Oh no that's heart breaking, do you have any idea why they would have all died?? I would be worried too :(

Yeah chicknlove is going to have babies,
my bator is here should have eggs in it tomorrow, so when I get my eggs set up I will let you know when I officially join the hatch

Oh, they all died because some person in a video said that it would "help" to sprinkle water on the eggs. It could have been that he was talking about another kind of eggs, but what is done is done. There was only about four eggs each time, but it was still sad. It would have been an interesting mix of americauna and polish... Oh well.

I know what I'm doing this time. XD

I'm only guessing that they were polish and americauna mixes. They were my neighbor's chickens.

Yay, rgvchicks! Congrats! And, no, Katsdar, I wasn't talking about the ones I'm doing now, I was talking about a while ago. Those pictures I posted of dead eggs were from this hatch. Btw, I just candled some of my eggs just now (I couldn't stop myself from checking them!) and one of them seemed to be completely black inside........ Does that mean it's doing realllly good, or that the yolk inside exploded when it was jostled around? I also picked out a blood ring, and notice two more that seemed infertile... D:

Things just aren't going my way, are they? lol

The incubator was barely moved when the door touched the edge... I wouldn't necessarily call it "jostled" around. I am concerned, nonetheless.
