Hatch-Along - Eggs set in November, due December, anyone?

3D I am stressed out... my brain hurts from all the reading... actually I am confused, if I don't have proper air cell size (or proper weight loss) then if I increase the humidity too much they can drown and if the humifity is too low then they may shrink wrap.... but a shrink wrapped chick can be saved not a drowned one.....

I found a thread that might be helpful, if you have not already read it: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/46364/day-18-and-air-cell-too-large I think you should just raise the humidity to about 70% and see what happens.

I wonder how big my air cells are... Maybe I'll post pictures of a couple of mine later, but they are only on day 16 yet. When I will be putting my eggs into lockdown, yours will be hatching! I cannot wait for all the pictures!

All this waiting stinks.

Congrats on lockdown everyone!! My lockdown is Saturday, I'm a little worried tho. I candled and I see little to no movement, and the incubator had a few high temps today... :(

From what I've read they cant drown because of too high humidity during lockdown it's only if their humidity was too high during the first 18 days. I think your going to have a great hatch rate! I can't wait too see your little babies!

Iv'e been keeping mine around the 100.5 to 101.3 range and noticed it spiked to 102.4 for a few hours this morning.. I took care to cool them a bit when I got home and candled a couple and still saw movement.. So scary, this far in I don't want to ruin the whole process!!

I am not sure I got eggs from a lady on here and out of 40 eggs I had one hatch, but all mine hatched that I set so I just didn't order anymore. He is huge though he should weigh about 15 to 20 pounds if they ever eat him.
