I agree she just looks like a girl, and her waddles are really small, so get ready to scramble some eggs what I figure end of April?
Well the integrating period has started, moved the brooder box into the pen today. Will let the chicks (well there not really chicks anymore) out when the big birds go range and then they have run of the area. The box has hardware cloth on the other end and I have panels I can put on if it gets really cold to keep the wind off of them. Figured it was time since we have a month to go and they will start to lay, and we will see how long it takes the birds to get used to each other and then hopefully the babies will go into the hen house by themselves, I have one that has checked it out already. I have been taking the babies into the area for a while now when the big birds are not home and at bed time would move them back into the brooder that was away from the big pen.
And when I know that everyone gets along and everyone is old enough they will free range during the day.
