A few days ago I took Bella to the vet, and they did surgery on her umbilical cord/yolk sac, and removed it, and now she is home with the other chicks and I have to force feed her food and medication every so often. It is very scary because I can so easily put the tube down the wrong hole. The other chicks need to teach her to eat and fast too! I can't feed her through a tube the rest of her life! She only weighs a third of what the others weigh. Poor chickie. The vet bill was also quite expensive... The things we do for chickens! XD
Right after I posted this, Bella passed away.

My bannie hen has gone broody, but she has laid her eggs on top of the barn, well under the eves and I can't get to her eggs, so I guess she will hatch there and then I will try to catch the chicks, her eggs will hatch a week after mine that are in the bator, so guess what she will have an instant family, I will let her raise the babies!!! Yeah, hope this plan works.
