oh my gosh did I say sleep? one of my chicks was a late hatcher who would get runover by the other chicks and lay on her back and flail. I put her in the lid of an egg carton, breathed on her, and slept with her all night, didn't trust a hen yet. Everyone is going to freak out now! No worries I am a light sleeper and a non shifter, She was fine in the morning, I put her back into the pen, and she snuggled up to the water dish and got cold she didn't fall in, but her wing got wet. this time I heated a grain bag, not too hot and let her warm up to that, then I was free to do chores, and work. She is doing well now.
