Hatch-Along - Setting eggs 4/25!! Anyones Else? Hatch date May 16th

I just had to cull ten or so more. I only have half of the eggs in the incubator that I started with and I only have hope for about four to hatch. The ones I cracked today were clear with the exception of four that appeared to have quit only days into incubation.

It's day 21 and we have one out to face the world!
Another (bottom left) has zipped his egg, but hasn't done anything in about 8 hours. should I assist after 12 hours have passed?

Started our eggs (shipped BLRW) on the evening of the 28th in a little giant with automatic turner and fan for our first incubation Hatch date 19th/20th. Candled at 9 days. 2 non-fertile eggs, 5 with blood rings, two that are hard to tell anything and the rest are moving. Temp has been OK a bit up and down from 98 to 102 for short periods. RH has been the hardest. At night I put in water and RH is about 29% by the time we are up in the morning it is 10%. Have added all kinds of sponges and rags to increase surface area but only managed to get it to about 39% for short periods. I guess we are trying the dry incubation method. Not sure if that has to do with the blood rings but doubt it. Am assuming it was the shipping. Eggs arrived intact, in airtight bubble baggies. But, they were all in the box any direction. I would have thought they would have tried to send them with the big end up and arrows on the box. Not that it would be handled that way but maybe help a little. I think the air sacks may have been damaged in shipping. We will see this weekend I guess. Am setting up for hatch late Wednesday night. Hope you all have good luck...

One hatched and four pips so far

Oh, thank goodness! Shows how inexperienced I am, though huh? LOL In that case, I should have little beebees in 16 days!
