Same here! I woke up this morning to lots of chirping and a pip. No wonder I kept hearing birds in the middle of the night!Well I woke up this morning turned on the light and started talking to the eggs and my lavender pip'd through the shell and started chirping at me ahhhhh this is gonna be a long day of incubator watching haha and crazy chicken talk trying to coax them out...Yes only my people on BYC know what I'm talking about.Tons of other eggs internally pip'd and rolling around![]()

YAY!!!!I've got a pip!
Yea how exciting we are all gonna have a bunch of fuzzy buttsI've got a pip!
I up'd my humidity to 60% and I had the same...it's day 20 for me and have had 3 hatch...thinking the others will catch up. Didn't want the ones hatching to dry out?! this is also my first hatch sooo?! The others keep pipping so I'm thinking it couldn't hurt...I ALSO have 5 eggs in there that aren't due for another 5 days and from what I've read they can hatch succesfully going thru a lockdown before actual lockdown w/o drowning soooo?! I say go for it!YAY!!!!![]()
Just out of curiosity, should I not keep the humidity 60-70% for the hatch? I candled my eggs as I set them down for lockdown and some of the air cells seemed large while others ...not so much.![]()
