Hatch-Along - Setting eggs week of Feb 4th..anyone else?

I warned them about that. They told the priest who will be in my room that there could be some cheeping... he loved it. :)

I'm anxious to get up there and see if there are any pips tomorrow. It would be a tad early, but I had one on day 19 last year, so it's not totally out of the question...
We had a HUGE chirping peep during class last year on day 18. We were in the middle of a test, so it was super quiet, then "TWEEEEEEEEP"... lol.. it was awesome. Half the class thought it was one of my boys who sat over by the incubator, but I went running over there and talked to the eggs and sure enough "TWEEEP" again... :)

Lol, I believe it. One of mine pipped on day 19 and hatched shortly after on day 20!

I wouldn't be shocked if that happened to me. My incubator has been running a little hot because of a weird nighttime spike.. no clue why...

I was very happy that 20 of the 24 eggs I started with were prefect and doing great when I locked down today... really hoping to beat last year's hatch of 16 out of 24... :)

Lockdown was Friday and on Saturday afternoon I had one of my barnyard mixes hatch.
By Saturday night I've got a total of four hatched (3 barnyard mixes and 1 Silkie).
The incubator is in the kitchen, so it's nice to listen to the chirps while cooking.

This is also my first time hatching waterfowl. I probably shouldn't have started out with such a expensive and important egg, huh? haha

Good luck with your future hatch! I love misting and cooling the egg. It makes me feel closer to it, but then again, I'll be pretty sad if it doesn't make it.

Thanks! I'll be cheerleading your gosling all thru hatchday...

Two of my 7 shipped eggs hatched last night (late in day 19) and this morning 2 more have externally pipped, in spite of being rolled all over the place by the first two! I had 4 with wobbly air cells, I'm not sure how they'll do...

Well today is day 22 .. I have one more that pipped and two that hatched... Not the best odds but I am still proud that I hatched any!! I set 18 eggs, I had 1 infertile and one early quitter.. The rest quit late. I'm hopin I have better odds next time as this hatch was in a homemade bator and I just got a gqf 1502 for the next try..

So was there any divine intervention during confession?

Im right there with you. Day 20 and nothing but a few wobbling eggs. Im happy to see the wobbles but have been staring at the bator all day. I cant wait for the pips to start.
