got my first egg from her today, or so I thought --- then checked the coop and found another BURIED under grass and dirt ... very dirty, she must have laid it a couple of days ago --- I was looking for my White Rock's daily egg when I found it, in the same nest the WR uses ... and I bet the WR is the one who buried it under kicked dirt ! not half an hour after I removed the EE's egg, the WR laid her own brown one there ...
this is the gal who was so enamored of my roo, that she dug a hole clear under the coop to get out to be with him ... they have been parading everywhere all over the property; today's egg was right next to the site where the black hen has been laying, but not IN her nest ...
EE is definitely a blue-green egg layer !
