Keep the temp steady around 98 ish and the humidity high. Do not open the incubator until it is fully hatched, unless it has been pipped for over 12 hours with no progress or seems to becoming weaker. If any of these occur, tell me first or ask someone on byc what to do. And be patient! Hatching takes time!!!

He has a nice little hole going now. Very disconcerting that it's black in there. I mean, the chick is supposed to be black but after alien's eggtopsy, it's a little scary

I have a batch of coco maran mixes I am looking forward too. the dad is coco maran and the moms are all diff. kinds. I have 6 diff colored egg in the bator. The chicks should all be black like dad though because I hatched out his chicks before.

Awesome. The eggs in my bator should turn out of be black and white chicks, but there's a possibility of other colors. When are yours due to hatch?
