Good luck with yours! Mine hasn't started a crack yet, but it has wiggled an peeped some. It just started about an hour ago, at 10

Oh, I am sorry! I fell asleep. Has the chick made any progress since then? Is it still cheeping an wigglining, or is it getting weaker?

Getting weaker. I think I can see unabsorbed yolk though. Is that bad? Should I help him out?

If there is yolk or veins at all- DO NOT HELP! This is very important! How far has she gotten so far? Are you sure it is yolk, or could it be her legs? And what color is the membrane that you can tell? I am not very good at assisting chicks, I have done it successfully a couple times but with help from some other BYC members. Make sure to keep her egg very moist, but it is your choice to help or not I suppose many people have different views on weather or not to help and if so when. I can help you a little if you do decide to assist her, but I am not extremely experience with that..
