Hi, I just set 15 lavender bantam ameraucana eggs this morning. They arrived on Thursday and I've been trying to get the incubator stable in the right range. It is a Hovabator Genesis 1588 forced air. The eggs all looked good on candling (I think) and we'll see if I get the humidity thing right. I am trying not to be paranoid about it but I check the temps etc every few minutes at the moment to be sure they are not creeping up, in fact I think they are a little low right now.... just turned the air conditioner off - hopefully that will help. The last time I hatched using the incubator (years ago now) I had a temp spike that almost cooked the whole lot! So trying to make sure this doesn't happen again...
