I just opened the 10 I took out if my bator and am happy to report that 6 were clear and 3 were early quitters (day 2 or 3 maybe) and only one was a day 6 or 7 i think. So really pretty happy with that, I would have been more puzzled if they all were fertile and had quit around the same time as the 6-7 day quitter. I think with the early ones they just weren't meant to be for what ever reason, and praying like mad that the rest in the bator are still going strongly! Also thankfully I think most of the tossed ones were from the mixed eggs, I think only 3 might have been the hamburg eggs (some silly person forgot to mark them! So from now on all the eggs that go in the bator will be marked no matter what!).

haha yaa marking them would be good, i mark mine because i know id loose track of whats what lol

i candled eggs again, wrote good or bad on the egg. soo far 19 are bad or questionable soo im leaving them for a few more days, and 21 are good, i started with 41 eggs, threw one out that i knew wasnt fertile.

Why keep bad eggs? They stink , rot, blow up and spoil your other eggs. Pitch 'em!
