Ummm.... im nort really sure. Well heres my story.
We had to rehome our roosters so before they left, i popped a few of thier eggs in the bator. At the lady's house that we took them to, she gave us a bunch of mixed breed eggs, so we dont really know what they will be!
This is the rooster that we rehomed. He is the dad of the incubating eggs that were layed by our chickens. We dont know what breed he is. The mother of the eggs that were laid by our hens is either a black sex link of r a red sex link.

4 days until lockdown for my BCM eggs! One week left until hatch!

Oh, and my mystery egg that I am letting my friend incubate in her classroom is due to hatch monday.

Sucks with the BCM eggs though, they are so dark that it is darn near impossible to see anything when candleing. I know at least 3 of them are growing but only suspect 1 of being a dud. I will leave them all in unless they start to leak or stink. I did get some silkies so that next time I wont have to deal with my horrible LG bator!

That thing is SOOOOO frustrating!

Just finished my first candling on my Marans eggs. I've got 12 I can see movement in, 3 that I'm not too sure on, and pulled out 2. That leaves me 15 heading into week 2.

My 6 bantam cochins just went into lockdown! Each egg in its own little paper cupcake liner, all candled full with big perfect aircells!

You had a beautiful rooster! I have been thinking about getting an RIR Roo but my father keeps saying if you get one keep that mean thing down at your place! lol.
