Hatch On Dates: Oct-nov? Dont Forget About This Post!!!

Quote:
Mine was doing same, after some research I got him out and put in brooder. I read they can dehydrate, I wasn't taking a chance.

I have 5 total hatched. 4 EEs and 1 Sizzle. 2 others are zipping and several more with pips but no progress yet.

We are going to take him out, but we have one zipping right now, and I read if you open it while one is zipping they can get glued to there egg, so trying to wait for that one to get out first.

well its 8am and still no progress with the egg

I hear that can happen even if it's just pipping going on. Once there is a hole, they can get stuck! That's why early egg is not going to be helped, I won't chance the other two.

I took her out and out her in the brooder. I went threw the window of the bator didn't take but 3 seconds and humidity is still at 64% she is resting now

It is getting a breath and testing the air! One of my little babies appears to have spraddle leg.

I'm going to get a band-aid and get it standing right when the DH gets home. The last egg is still just sitting there, chirping wax coming from it last night, but it may be too weak to get out. What to do, what to do? I guess let nature handle it, I did everything right, sucks to hear it in there though and not try to get it out.

k ill join but my silkie hens been sitting on eggs since like the 5fth of october i hope its ok but its my first time so maybe u guys can help me out a little bit
