Okay so I've completed the incubation and wanted to give a breakdown.

Quail Empire sent me 30 eggs that Hatch owed me from a bad shipment back in March so I am grateful to them. When I received the 30 eggs several had come lose from the foam and 8 had to be thrown out so I incubated 22. Of the 22 I did get 12 very healthy chicks. I'd be interested to hear how the others that received eggs from Quail Empire made out.

I believe @Ravenlover hatched some from them and out of 12 “rare mix” I believe, 3 were Texas a&m and 1 pharaoh.

I ended up with 5 A&M's, a couple Italians and the rest pharaoh. They didn't indicate what they sent so I was kind of surprised with the whites but my wife likes them so we were happy.

Just noticed this yes the only 4 who lived besides one i had to cull too many birth probs, i got this guy,which im told might be pharaoh, and two yellows with a bog dot on there heads , and one fluffy pure yellow with no markings but is way bigger then the rest, lil " pharaoh " is a runt feels so light, last pic is one with the light dot and the fluffy yellow laying by my button quail Vladimir, u can see last yellows leg in picture lol. But yes 31 eggs only 8 or 9 survived and only 5 hatched only 4 alive just horrible honestly, they said they would send more and i was gonna have them sent after Thanksgiving but i have more button eggs on the way so ill make them wait till xmas if they agree.

So get this im trying to email quail empire so they can finally reshipp my eggs since 11 out of 31 survived and this lady is claiming she has no email history and is now trying to claim that the order isnt with then .... shes making me so mad .. idiots...

Now she claims she sees pictures of the box (when i sent beat up pics of how bad the box was) and claims i must have gotten eggs and that hatc rates arent there probpem... so i called her on claiming to not have email history but shes picturs from it !! And so on and say the probleks is i wqs promised a reorder after thanks giving !!!

Yea no quail empire is ridiculous unprofessional and the way the sales member was talking to me just now ... never ever getting eggs from them again and i was curious about placing a order of there red layers.

I asked weeks ago about the red layers. The guy emailed me back a couple times, when I asked for pics of the eggs because they never had any on the site, he said he would send them tomorrow, and I never heard back, and it’s been weeks.

That's too bad. I got sucked in with Hatch by falling for the 2 pound pharaohs with the eggs that wouldn't fit in the normal quail rails of my incubator. At the time I was looking at Myshire and Hatch and went with Hatch because of price was a little cheaper and the crazy promise. I do get jumbo sized eggs from some of my hens but I'm sure they're no bigger than a typical jumbo egg.

If I can give any advise to anyone reading this...Ask questions on sites like this first. Had I done that I would never have gone with Hatch or now Empire.
