I have 1 hen from Myshire who is huge, and her eggs do not fit in the quail egg turner for the brinsea. If you ordered jumbos from Myshire, JMF, Southwest etc, you probably would have gotten a few huge layers. I literally just put all mine in the bator the other day, and the hen is indoors so she lays sporadically, but next time I get one, I’ll photo an egg for you. That's too bad. I got sucked in with Hatch by falling for the 2 pound pharaohs with the eggs that wouldn't fit in the normal quail rails of my incubator. At the time I was looking at Myshire and Hatch and went with Hatch because of price was a little cheaper and the crazy promise. I do get jumbo sized eggs from some of my hens but I'm sure they're no bigger than a typical jumbo egg.
If I can give any advise to anyone reading this...Ask questions on sites like this first. Had I done that I would never have gone with Hatch or now Empire.
