I'm on day 24 of a columbian wyandotte hatch. The eggs arrived in 18º weather so I was worried about getting any to hatch. I had one hatch on day 21, 1 hatched on day 22, 2 hatched on day 23, and I've got at least 2 more piped today (24th day).
The first 2 that hatched were scrawny, the last 2 were brawny, all four are doing great.
Does anybody know what causes such a drawn out hatch? I'm using a suro king at 99.5º and for hatching 68% humidity. I rested them for 24 hours before I began incubating.

I recently had a broody hatch late. I was so surprised. Can't figure it out myself. It hasn't even been terribly cold here and she was inside a garage brooder.

Weird.....

Sorry, I don't know what to tell ya. But, you could click the links in my signature and see what they say. Hatchability Problem Analysis tells alot.
