I'm so glad that I don't have to worry about watching the eggs! LOL! I think I would go crazy if I had an incubator. My broody hen is getting really chatty here today...so hopefully that means babies are thinking about making their way into this world soon!

I didn't realize that so many people had joined this thread!! Next we'll need a count after everyone is through hatching of how many eggs were set and how many ended up hatching!! I'm down to 8 from the original 15 and on my second batch due June 10th, only 4 of the 15 are growing and they have really mis-shapen air cells so it doesn't look good. I decided at day 11 I better cull out the ones that weren't growing. I wanted to see if they were fertile, etc. so I cracked them all open and 2 weren't fertile, some had started and died around day 2 and two were rotten! In fact one blew up when I cracked it

so it is lucky I got it out of there!!!!

Lockdown is tonight for my 25 eggs....can't wait to candle tonight, I love to see the little ones inside! I wonder what they dream before they hatch?

I had already had a list started so I knew when to check in over the weekend, I just didn't have it completed. I didn't go through and check and see how many eggs were culled because I didn't have the time, but if anyone would like to give me their new totals, I would be more than willing to update the totals instead of the original number.
