Oh I'm very excited! Lots of room for my new chicken hobby! It is in the country but one 3 minutes from the city, so it's close to work.

Soon I will also be starting a thread on my second incubator. I'm trying out the difference between a still air and a circulated air. My second set of eggs should be here in the next few days. So anyone getting ready to set around the 22 to 24th look out for the thread!

I set mine on the 12th!! 7 mille fleurs in a Brinsea Eco Advance and about 30 MF's, EE's, silkies in a 1588 Kids are so excited!!

Well I just candled and think 10 of 13 bbs Ameraucana eggs look good. Two had blood rings and one was completely clear so I am guessing it was never fertilized. It seems to me that's not too bad for shipped eggs. I am hoping the bluest of the remaining Ameraucana eggs keep developing. Biting my nails until I candle again in about a week. How are the other bbs Ameraucana eggs doing or are you not braving the broody?

Well, I think I might have a broody Japanese bantam...if so, she is on 14+ eggs.

We shall see in the morning.

I had a spike in my humidity today due to weather in my local area.....It went from 45% to 50%....are my eggies dead?

Oh good I was worried. Is 45% to low then? Best of luck on the recandling! I'm going to recandle mine on Tuesday I think, maybe Wednesday.
