HATCHED CHICK CANT STAND HELP!

plenty of ppl have had no issues with mesh it just boils down to preferance really. if you can see a vet right away and she does have splayed legs you could make a brace out of band aids. I know there are loads of threads on the issue.[/QUOT

I know hoe you feel about a week and 2 days ago I hatched out 16 chick I had to cull one because I tried everything I could with the symtoms I noticed it was not til it was to late I started to notice wry neck and by then it was kinder to put it down. But I think if there is a issue with this chick you caught it early enough to fix

yes I hope so and what could be done if so ?

The brace I use and works great is the straw rubber band method. It looks like the leg has been bruised or a sprang. I had one that injured it's leg and I wrapped it with the self adhesive bandage wrap for padding. So, if it does have spraddle leg, the bandage will keep it from rubbing against the wound.
