Hatched my first chick! More on the way...

First little baby pipped this afternoon. Tonight there it was in the bator! A bantam red. Two more have pipped! These are a mix of bantams and feather footed fancies from MM. I'm so excited! I'll never sleep tonight.

I have 10 in the hatcher.

Last night was one week so I candled my standard Salmon Faverolles in the other bator. Eight developing nicely.

Today I'll be setting a batch of bantam Salmon Faverolles, and Showgirls.

Monday (hopefully the new Sportsman will arrive by then

) I'm planning to set Wheaten/Blue Wheaten Marans, and Ameraucans.

This is so exciting!

One little tiny baby peep and I'm hooked for life.
