I LOVE my Hovabator Genesis 1588.......so much that I've just gotten a second one.
Both came from GQF Manufacture Co in Georgia. $184 (includes shipping & auto turner) It's a 'plug & play'.....preset temperature........all you have to do is add water to the trough, add eggs and then the hard part is the waiting!!!!! Turner holds 41 chicken eggs.

No matter what kind of 'bator you get, welcome to the wonderful world of hatching.

Good to hear someone else who prefers the 1588. Yes it is styrafoam but all around it's a better choice "in my opinion".

the temp. is at 37.3 degrees celsius

Oh well, looks like I did ot again. My bator was sitting quietly for a month and now I got eggs coming next week. 6 blue wheaten ameraucauna eggs. Trouble is that leaves space so I bid on some Silkie eggs to fill the gaps.
Hopefully all will hatch. My last hatch is 5 weeks old already.

kay, so the temp, should stay at 99.5 for the whole 21 days right ??
oh man, just looking at these eggs, to think they soon might be cute little fluff balls.
right now they still look like breakfast. isn't mother nature fun ??!!!

You might want to bring that humidity down to around 40% for the first 18 days but I say go for it!
