Day 14, candled all the eggs, out of 26 there are four that are questionable....This little one kept showing us his foot but by the time I got the camera turned on it had moved just a tad, you can see one of its toes tho

things are progress really well americianmom its only afew more days to till your lock down so fingers crossed a week and we get to see them cant wait for yor pics. i spent today cleaning brooders blew a light in one found i have no spares left so got to go to town today in preparation for this weekends hatch. the sussex hen i just just isnt right wont be using her comb issue expensive mistake on my part but against my birds it would be a bigger mistake to use her. the breeder is lovely and has another pen of birds i am thinking of buying i will have a chat face to face. and yesterday a group of muscovies arrived 1 drake 2ducks 2ducklings the drake is a huge black saw him awhile ago and loved him the guy has fox problems so thought it best to bring to me lol hubby not happy tho "whats this another line of stinking ducks."
 
Ok, so I read that the eggs didnt need to be turned after 14 days and since I have had a few issues with humidity I was concerned about early pipping, so I took the turner out about a half an hour ago and laid them on the rubber shelf liner back in the bator....Now I am having the humidity jump to 78%!! I was opening the bator to allow it to lower but then the temp was going down to 93 so anyway, long story short, I'm going to give it an hour and hope it regulates after the temp comes back up to 101... So worried I did the wrong thing!!

Hubby and I got the brooder ready last night, going tomorrow to buy more chick feed and a bigger feeding tray, need some pine shavings also. Sounds like you got birds coming out of your ears LOL.. I thought about ducks but not sure, we tried it many many years ago and wasnt to crazy about it so not sure if we want to invest...Turkeys will be a must come next spring tho. How many birds do you have?? My neighbors are worried were going to have more roos, lol...Told them if the dog keeps killing my pullets I'm going to be left with nothing but roo's
 
Me and my mom had wyandottes hatch yest and one was born with a club foot and another born w what looks like hydrocephalus does anyone know why this would happen the other two are normal and waiting for three more
