Thank you. I didn't know, with the not rotating for the last three days.

Sorry I couldnt give you a for sure answer, I'm kinda glued in place right now as my incubator is in my computer room, had some humidity issues...again...but got it nearly stabilized , scared me when it jumped to 78% !!!

I dont know what to do if the chick keeps bumping the other eggs, are they pipped??

egg bowling is normal and i think actually helps the eggs hatch faster...hehe..they want out to get revenge!!!!or maybe they just wanted to play too..
it seemed like it took my first pip forever to zipp then after it started playing with the other eggs they were like boom boom boom bam.. out out out in record time..

7 silkie x eggs go for lockdown in the morning.

hi there chika79 sorry i missed your post problems are common with hatching even hens get ones that are not right . i would look at maybe a hotspot in your bator by putting a number of temp gauges in it (with out eggs) and let it stablize check that all gauges read the same. failing that i would look at the diet of the parental flock there is a great pic on one of the other threads of wire used to straighten the legs and toes. i have have a few with leg issue preferring now to just leave things be after trying to fix leg issue on a silkie that died anyway. have one in a brooder at present that is a couple of weeks old now it would only use one of its legs and spent alot of time laying down when it 1st hatched but it seems nearly okay today it still limps a little. hope you find some answers
