Hatching baby quail need assistance!

Update:
It hatched!
Because of the positioning and the head being on the wrong side it had tried to push and couldn’t and all it could do was slowly tear a little piece of membrane. It stopped yawning for a few hours so I decided to peel away a chunk of shell. Still no progress. I then decided to help him out and tore a little line of membrane, no bleeding or egg sack which is awesome and he immediately got out of the egg! doing great so far, I’ll keep the thread updated

She had some fun exploring the incubator! now she’s chilling with her buddies while she waits for them to hatch!

Lol!!! Coturnix don't brood their own babies usually though, broodiness has been bred out. Sorry! Lol

Thankfully I got this one in time! Believe it’s another female but it isn’t as red asthe first. She got sealedstuck by the inner membrane and was pecking at the membrane for house but made no progress. Opened it up a bit and she got stuck! Peeled off some of the stuff and she was so eager she pushed herself out right away!

Aw! So sweet. I need to get out the incubator and hatch some quailies

I’ve got some baby quail hatching and the first pipped at around 4pm yesterday, day 16. Got no movement and around 10pm I decided to open up the whole a little to see what the problem was. I hit a little patch of blood and Dried it and put some coconut oil on it. This morning, around 7:15, I saw no progress and decided to open it again on the other side of the hole. Same thing with a little blood. I know he still has to absorb everything and I’m a little worried since now he’s responding to me and peeping a lot, but looks too weak to do anything. Should I just wait it out or check the air cell to make sure everything is absorbed?
i incubate probably 60 a year. i get about 10 to adulthood. delicate little birds, and anything wrong at hatching seems to set them on course to dying later. if they are strong, they'll get out of the egg. open your eggs for the knowledge. i open all my eggs when they do not hatch. usually when i have helped them, their feet are curlled under and they can not walk..... i suppose the feet get strong pushing the egg apart and they all eventually die. i have taped their feet to paper, held them up above the floor to exercise their legs.. seems to never save them.

I saved several curled feet ones. I've assisted quite a few quail and they've all been fine. What breed do you hatch? I had bobwhites. I put my curled foot chicks in little bowls with toilet paper in the bottom. I left them in for a while, and in the morning they were straight.
