I feel like I've got chicks coming out of my ears! I've got some under a broody, a dozen MFC being incubated by a friend, some coming from a hatchery (ordered before we got two broodies) and a couple silkie chicks coming from a breeder. Luckily the hatchery chicks are coming the exact day Molly's eggs are due, so I think I'm just going to stick the chicks under her and put the bantams in a brooder.

Gosh, this is the cutest incubating thread. What lovely mamma hens yal have.
I have a dozen Blue Wheaten Ameraucana eggs along with 3 Blue Wyandotte eggs in my Brinsea that are due on May 15th.
Wouldn't ya know it, 3 of my girls decided to be broody for the first time.
Trying to break 2 as we need the eggs. Allowing Mrs. Grumpy to set and when the eggs hatch in the bator, plan to sneak some chicks under her to replace the 3 fake eggs.

When I got home this eve, Beautiful was tight on her nest o' eggs. But I saw that she had been up - ate, drank, and left a couple of righteous broody poops! Go, broody mama!

Are you guys separating your broody? My nests are up off of the ground and I'm considering putting her in a pen on the floor of the coop. None of the other girls have tried to lay in there with her yet, but if she hatches in there they won't be able to get down. What do you guys think?
