Hatching Call Duck Eggs Newbie

Hi everyone I'm new to hatching call duck eggs and I'm looking for some tips and tricks. I have 7 to put into my Brinsea incubator. I've hatched many standard and bantam chicken eggs but this will be my first time with call duck eggs. Any suggestions and tips would be greatly appreciated. Can't wait to try this new adventure .

Duck eggs do like a bit more moisture than chicken eggs.

Also, depending on how close they are to show quality, hatching can be a bit tricky.

Do you spray them with water during incubation?

I don't usually do a different humidity for them than I do chickens. I do mist them for the last couple days before lockdown, on the advice of Ravyn.

Some of mine are fairly typey, so I have to help those hatch. Ones that aren't as close to the Standard don't need as much help, because they have longer beaks and necks.

I don’t use a different humidity. I run dry, which maintains 25-35% and that usually works for mine. Sometimes the air cells are still too small and I may scrub the eggs before the final few days and mist to get them a bit larger. But I only mist if my air cells aren’t big enough.
I assist a very large percentage of mine because I’ve had too many pip and die, so I’m probably more pro-active than some with assisting. I don’t assist until at least internal pips happen, I prefer to wait for external pips.
