Remminents of the crap of the first “yolk” egg I was talking about. Thanks for everyone’s help. That one seems alright. Do ducks carry on absorbing “yolk” even when out of the shell? It was at least 3 times the size of what’s left!

That looks like embryonic waste, leftover hatching gunk. Not yolk, just the waste the embryo produced during development :)

Hi guys, sorry had to sleep. It’s 7am here in the UK. This is the one that pipped at the wrong end, I’m just letting him dry off and need to check nothing is attached, then he can join the other SIX! Thanks so much for everyone’s help in what was a very stressful day!
