Hatching Chicks!

I had one hatch last night and this one we had to help out of the egg because the membrane dried on him

I had a chick hatch with yolk and blood and he has guts coming out were his umbilical stump should be, he walks and peeps just fine. Is there a way that he can live
 
Pull the poor things head off now. whats wrong with you. noooo it will not live!!! ****!

The yolk and blood aren't as alarming to me as the intestines on the outside of him. I think the best thing you can do for that little one is put it out of its misery...

depends on what you call "guts." one of my birds hatched late with a few strings of goo coming from a not yet closed abdomen. i kept him an extra day alone in the incubator and he was fine. but if you really mean GUTS then the best would be to cull.

How is the rest of the hatch going?
 
good so far, I have read some other things on BYC and I think I might see if the intestines will pull back in
