I just put my Rouen duck eggs in lock down! I have 6 eggs, one is pipping! I am so excited!

i am on day 20 and 21 today. no movement or nothing. i am dying to candle them.. grrr!!!!

i know im a few days behind and i hope that doesnt stop the eggs from growing.
i think theyll hatch on days 22 and 23 ( which would be tuesday)

ugh this is difficult!!!!

i have 5 eggs.

i started with 35. and got 11 out of them, and slowly every day i lost a few.

i was using a homemade inc. but on day 18 i switched them to the hovabator. floor temp is in the 99's and top the eggs is 101. humidy is anywhere from 60-70%

heres hoping !!

cant wait to meet the chickys and put new eggs in

yah in my last hatch with her i tought one was infetile when i candeled them the next day she eat it all the others where fertile

my girl ate the questionable egg too ha! I candled today on day five and all clearly had development but two. I wasn't sure...pretty new, so I left them and will recheck at day ten. Did any more of yours hatch?

Sounds like you had a temp spike to lose them like that. I had the same happen in a hatch in a Farm Innovator of a friends. Ended up with 1/41. Im sticking to Brinsea and my homemade incubator.

Bought 2 more BLRW hens today so going to fill incubator once more in a few days.

I know what you mean. I have 6 Rouen duck eggs due to hatch on tues, started with 13. I can see a little crack and can hear him. I just want to help him but I know I have to wait lol! Good Luck! Keep us posted!

yes i had a spike one day and knew thats what happened to a few of them.

im getting all worried now. its day 21/22 for my eggs and there is no movement, noises, cracks ugh nothing.. hurry up !~
