i candle yesturdAy, its day 14, all eleven looking good and moving around. some are laizy and some are very active. cant wait till next tuesday. i just love hatching days lol

I have a dozen eggs going into lockdown the day after tomorrow! Way in the beginning one of the eggs got stuck to some glue that was on the back of my hygrometer (it was new, missed the glue- UGH). Anyway, a piece of the shell on the air sac ended up coming off. So, what do I do? I throw it in the trash. Then I take it out to see if the inner membrane was still intact. Worth it? No, I throw it away again. Then I decide its totally worth it and put it back in the incubator. For those counting, I broke the shell and threw it away TWICE. That little miracle eggs is still going strong! I made a little duct tape band aid for it so it wouldn't loose too much moisture. Maybe I'll take a picture of the doctored egg and share and hopefully a chick pic if it actually hatches!!!

sorry for the broken egg. do post as it goes. i have been keeping an eye on the temp. and the humidity. 99. and 35%. tomorow add water and take them off the turner. this is the part i am always afraid of. last hatch i lost all they were all full developed but some drawn and the other dont know what happen. of course they were shipped eggs with really bad air cells so it was $100 and the electric bill for 22 days down the drain.

Hi All, I am becoming a basketcase waiting...today Saturday is day 21...I have one pip that occurred yesterday in the afternoon, but nothing since and my husband thinks the tiny pip didnt break the inner membrane of the shell but just poked the shell out. I am so nervous. I only have seven eggs in and would like for just two of them to hatch. At this point I don't even care if they are boys lol . I am so excited as this is my first time. They are shipped eggs and I know I shouldn't count my eggs before they hatch. at least five of the seven looked good and the two unsure ones didnt have any odor or distinct signs of death so I left them in. I have a feeling I won't sleep tonight.

All of that sounds amazing -especially that miracle egg I really hope it hatches!
