Best of luck all hatching today!

My final hatch of the year. Nice broody hen hatched some guineas.
Egg purchasing is a 50/50 I've found myself.
I think I'll look local next time, I do think shipping and time plays a roll and for the price
ouch you hate to toss a dozen eggs. Now I am hoping as these mature my last guinea lady will find comfort in
common company.
Congrats to all of your new peeps. Those blues are sweet!

Been trying to hatch eggs for about 2months now- two different clutches and no luck.

Trying again with 2 broodies-Black Australorps.

I am on day 18 with my third batch of eggs. Nervous all over again. So far I have killed off two full clutches of eggs, both by accidentally cooking them in a faulty incubator. Now I'm in a new 'bator with a better thermometer and hygrometer and have my fingers crossed yet again. I am really really hoping to get at least a couple eggs to hatch. This is my first time (meaning all three tries in the last three months) trying to hatch out eggs. I've had a brooder tank set up for weeks now, just waiting, and waiting, and waiting. . . .

I have 12 partridge silkies, they go into lock down tomorrow night. This is my first time hatching so am very very nervous and excited. We live in alberta, canada and it is very dry here so i have to watch my humidity close. Wish me luck.

Good luck with all your hatches everyone. My last one hasn't gone so well. Borrowed 2 other incubators with nearly 200 eggs and only 16 chicks so far. I had an order for 60 I won't be able to fill for a farm now. And I can only assume they won't want any if I can't produce them all so I'll have chicks in the house for winter. Ughs!

heading into day 20 with my first ever incubating experiance.. Needless to say I have been more uptight than I thought I would be, checking the bator every few min, not wanting to leave the house in case something goes wrong, dreaming for peets sake about them hatching... I take care of my elderly MIL 4 days a week and today is grocery day and then picking up my adolrable Grandson so Mommy can take other Grandson to the dentist for a check up... Hope we see some action while the little one is here, He is three and loves Poppy and Nanny's animals and chickens and both the boys have been super exited about all the babies weve had around here all summer, but to actually watch a chicken hatch would be so fun to let him watch.

Keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well
