Yea Its what I'm concerned about because I need to make a hole for the other chick to breath from and that can be tricky like what if I am too late

But I'm gonna try to do my best everywhere I read they say it's very rare for a double yolk to hatch I think it's not rare it's just that we still don't know the exact moment to step in and help ...

So I'm gonna try my best and im going to note everything

Thnx I hope so too !!!

Ive started to notice some changes un the egg when I candel it
It seems darker and I only see two dark circles I can't see the embreyo dancing anymore
Is that the chicks growing or are they dead !?
I'm scared my husband says I shoudnt candel them every other day they could die if I take them out from the incubator is that true ?

I only take two for 5 seconds and then put them back

What u think????

Ps the circles in the egg are significantly bigger now

Taking them out isn't a problem as long as they are handled gently. Some incubators even have settings so that they will turn off for a set time each day and let the eggs cool to simulate the mother leaving the nest to eat and drink. Where you run into a problem is that by overhandling the eggs the oils from your skin can clog the pores of the egg so that they don't lose enough moisture and air cannot pass properly through the shell. Also, if you do not make sure your hands are VERY clean before handling, you can introduce bacteria into the egg.
