Hatching Duck eggs....I messed up...UPDATE.....#1

Did your dad actually call the PO and ask if they were there? Ive heard that they can be very unhelpful and not bother calling right away

I sure hope they will be ok!

He did call them. They said that they thought they would arrive later that day, maybe. But they never came, and I don't know where they are. I'm so scared. Can they survive if they're in there until tomorrow?

My dad said that the ducks are 'still in transit.' And the Post Office hasn't called either, and if they do, now it's too late. My dad works too far to get the ducks if they call. So the ducks will probably have to stay wherever they are tonight. Which is probably in a box somewhere.
Do you think they'll be okay? My dad called Metzer's, and they said that they did ship the ducks Monday. So the ducks have been in there since Monday :(  I'm so worried

Yes, I'm sure they will be fine for one more day. It took mine 3 days and they did not have the grow gel. They were better than ok. Were you able to have the grow gel put in for shipping? That will help. Keep us posted.

Thank you both. I'm still worried.. Metzer's gave us a tracking number, and the last time it was scanned was yesterday at 7:57 pm. It says nothing about where they are now...

ETA: Yes, there is GroGel for them

My dad called Metzer's. They should be here by tomorrow, although they're not exactly sure what caused this. Because it was a cross-country trip, it could've been anything. According to Metzer's, they'll be considerably weaker than they would've been had they arrived this morning...

You can also put you tracking number in at " package tractor.com ". Sometimes they show more than USPS or Fedex

Thank you! I tried that, it basically said the same thing. Although it did say that, according to the last update (Last night at 7:57) it was halfway across the country.
