The first Duckling is out!.......Finally I had to help it out of the egg....Very tiny!
Yippee only 9 more to go!!!
@WVduckchick.....The other one is zipping now....Should I assist if it is struggling also?........I will wait and give it time....How much time though?

Its hard to say from start to finish. Normally it takes maybe an hour or so. But the important part is that they keep going, once they really get started! Even a minute or two of resting time between breaks is fine, but if they stop for more than about 10 minutes at a time, I get worried.
I shake the incubator, peck on the window, shine the flashlight, make sure they are still active.
Take deeeep breathsI'm setting up my brooder and heating it up......This baby is causing me grief and stress rolling the eggs all over the place!
Yikes!!!!....I'm getting stressed out!
