Hatching ducks question

Hi all, I have a question:
My duck eggs are on day 22 and yesterday we noticed two of them rocking on and off for awhile. They are not due to hatch until the 28th day but does this rocking mean they could hatch earlier? Any help would be appreciated, not that experienced with hatching ducks!

Possibly? What the temperature in the incubator and humidity?

It's been around 101 the whole time sometimes up to 102 but then I get it back down to 101 and the humidity has been 40-50%

I have a homemade one, styrofoam with a lightbulb, pretty basic but it's working

Not if they hatch too early and humidity isn't correct..

Fan or no fan? No fan your temp is good I think, but with a fan, it's too high. Google forced air vs still air incubators and that should help.

The 28-day "thing" I have found to be more of a guide than a hard fast rule. And I say this because I have set 28-day eggs under broodies and had them internally pip at day 24 and hatch on day 26.
