Hatching early AGAIN this week!

I don't know either, but another brown-striped chick with yellow legs was hatched this morning. Maybe Gary knows --- I'll send him the pics

They were from his splash Ameraucana roo (that one he showed the pic of with the awesome beard) and I thought he said blue hens.
Got several more nice blue Am' chicks out this morning, too.

hers look a little more red to me, any other colors have the chipmunk marking?

That's what I was thinking, too redish looking. I'm sure he will show up and let us know what it is soon.

this may be far-fetched, but any chance they are Araucana? Did you check out the rump? Maybe he got them confused when collecting?

My two sets of broody eggs hatched early. I've heard that under a broody sometimes that happens. I guess that's nature

I just hatched ten baby Ameraucana's and thats what mine looked like.

My hatch is going well and just about done for the week. It's Day 20 for the Ameraucana eggs from Gary and had 13 chicks hatched so far from 16 eggs (10 blues, 2 brown ??, and another blue got squashed by the hen. 2 more are pipped. The 16th egg looked 'off' when I candled earlier. There was an egg full of 'something dark' but it didn't look quite right.
Hatched the 2 blue Cochins and a naked neck from Cindy's eggs, but the NN got squashed in the nest.
