I exhibited at my very first show last weekend. I discovered that with silkies, I am going to have to have them older by show time. It was suggested to me that eight months old is about the youngest. So, I have to start hatching in January Or February. In Canada those are the coldest months, with the temperature dropping as low as -30. Do you know of any solutions to keeping chicks in weather like that ? What do other show people do where they have winter?????? thanks
