Hatching early- is that normal?

My eggs are not supposed to hatch till tomorrow . Incubator says days 2 . Is it bad they are hatching early? I know it is just a day but the newbie/ mommy in me is worried. This is only our second time incubating.

Its pretty normal, especially is your temperature was a smidge high throughout incubation.

What temp did you run it at?

It was set at 99.2 last time. This time the incubator was set at 99,6. We have had three hatch so far.

When we hatch bantams they usually hatch a half day to a day early but when we hatch our standards they only hatch early if the temp is high.

Even 3 day's is not uncommon it has to do with your heat setting's

Here in the high dessert I normally get hatches in 18 to 20 day's
and theses are dry hatches for the most part
