Hatching egg

It was dead but not dried to the egg, still really moist and all the yolk had been absorbed and no bleeding. Idk what went wrong. It was chirping hours ago and then just stopped.

If humidity is low, they don't stick to the shell, the inner membrane shrinks, wraps tightly around the chick and hardens so they can't move.

It had no membrane stuck to it and it was moist. I’ve seen that before when my mother in law has incubated eggs, this chick came right out of the shell when I assisted, but it was already dead

I wish I would’ve just helped him out this morning instead of waiting. It sucks since that was the only one that was hatching.
