You are SO sweet.

I am actually shopping for an incubator now. I don't want to keep my cousin's incubator for too long and I know I want to do this again, so I figured I ought to buy my own!

Oh and congrats on the goslings pipping!

Ok, so I am not sure that the bantam egg is going to do anything and the Dela-who or Dela-what is a little iffy as well, but I think the other designer chicken eggs may have a chance! I'm not sure on the duck eggs... I see some veins, but not a lot and very little else.

I have 4 out of 6 guinea eggs that I'm pretty confident in. One guinea eggs I'm pretty sure isn't going to do anything and the other is iffy, but still may do something, I think. They're hard because they're so dark and thick shelled.

I have 4 eggs I'm pretty confident in from the ones my cousin gave me... some of the others are hopefully going to be ok. One I'm pretty sure won't be doing anything.

This is all too exciting! I am really enjoying this! I am SO close to buying an incubator. I found a Hovabator on ebay that seems like a good deal, but I can't quit decide to buy it just yet!

I had to make a new bator yesterday for the eggs I got from Miss Jayne. I am also borrowing an incubator from my cousin, but my Silkies start day 21 this afternoon. I had an early one-he pipped yesterday morning and hatched last night at 10:15! He is adorable! This one was white. Good luck on your hatch.
BTW: I also have a thread started about my eggs, I hope you don't mind that I stole your idea!

the bantam ones can be harder to see anything because the inside stuff is little also. the duck eggs will all of a sudden be heavy veined.

ooh! this is exciting!

gotta go find Heather's thread now! yippy!

I don't mind at all! Congrats on your new peep and any others that hatch out today! I cannot wait to get to that point! I hope your hatch with Miss_Jayne's eggs goes well!

Thanks for the info in the bantam egg, Miss_Jayne!

I'll keep you updated!

Oh, did you get a chance to check your guinea eggs? I'm just curious how they're doing compared to mine since they were shipped.

Did a little more checking this weekend. I found a guinea egg that didn't seem to be doing anything, so I cracked it. Nothing going on it in at all. I also opened up one of the chicken eggs from my cousin and it was scrambled. A few of the eggs I got from you look kind of like that one did, but I am so afraid to pitch any of them just in case (that's why I cracked one of her eggs to check it out instead of one of hers). I'm still unsure of the duck eggs, but I keep hoping!

Oh and I got impatient and went to TSC and got a LG incubator and turner. It has stayed amazingly consistant with temp. Humidity fluctuates some, but is still within a reasonable range. Now I'm going to use the new one for the incubator and my cousin's LG just for a hatcher!
