Can you still see the duckling moving in the egg when you candle
Yes! It doesn’t seem to move quite as much, could be tired though

Okay I think I will go ahead and make a tiny hole and go from there. What about making a safety hole now, and then in a few hours slowly start expanding the hole to see what is going on. If you aren’t seeing a lot of veins, and it hasn’t internally pipped, I would try opening the membrane just above it’s bill.
Call ducks seem to have such a high Hatch failure rate. Normally I would give it more time, but I really don’t know with it being a Call
Here is the inside prior to vaselineYeah, honestly, I might just go for it. Baby is already way behind.. When you open up the air cell, moisten the membrane, and send another photo / video. Locate the bill and, if it’s clear of veins, pinch a hole through the membrane.
The air cell dip and shadowing is so nice!! I’m really curious why baby has stopped.
There seems to be a handful of veins. I could not find the bill. Although I don’t know where to look or how to tell forsureIt’s a bit hard for me to see in the video- are there a lot of veins? We’re you able to locate the bill?
You didn’t cover the hole with plastic wrap? I have no idea but I can’t imagine closing the air off.I wrapped it in plastic wrap and poked a hole in it and it’s back in the incubator.
I see feathers at the very top and when it breathes, that area is what moves
