They shouldn't be taking more than 4% unless their fees have changed. The amount at which 4% will still leave you with $15.00 should be $15.6248. If it would just be easier I'll send $15.75 but I'm not sending as a gift as there is no recourse if I ever need to dispute the payment (which I have already had to do). Thanks for letting me know, I was trying to send enough to cover the fee, not trying to be a pain.

I'm pretty sure Rachael posted that the new rule for Paypal was $17. So, I'm not sure where this discussion of $15 versus $15.75, etc. came from...

Paypal fees are 2.9% plus $0.30. That would be $0.74 if you send $15 or $0.75 if you send $15.62. So you guys are paying lower fees than me? I bet the fee structure is determined by what type of Paypal account you have. Mine is a business account. I would rather pay the fee to keep my option of recourse open. To me it's no big deal. I'm used to paying the fee on every Paypal I've ever received, well until last week. I stared at that "gift" for a few mintues trying to figure out why no fee was taken.

I always send mine as a gift unless I am actually buying something.

I don't think anyone is complaining, I think everyone is just trying to state the fee's that they are taking out and explain it. It isn't a huge deal or else I wouldn't be claiming it. Not sure but, I think when Rach said the rules are staying the same then that meant that the PP would still be $15. It is not stated anywhere in the rules that is has to be sent as a gift and this has been discussed many times on here and there has been no rule stating it has to be sent as a gift. So I guess it is just left at that.

I wasn't saying it to be a penny pincher on my end. I could care a less about a few pennies. As someone stated the fees are the cost of doing business with PP. I have just seen too many with bringing up strict rules and usually it starts something going. I would not have said anything if I didn't see another post about it and stating that $15.62 sent was what it cost to take care of their PP offer. Others are doing the same thing and thinking they were covered. I didn't want them to think they were and run into a problem. Just saying. I was trying to be helpful

I contacted funnmomm and told her since i owed her 2 sets of eggs and she owed me 2 sets of eggs We canceled them out.

I do however know that Nan has been sending her stuff out to people.
