I just can't do it. No matter how hard I try. I just cannot seem to put my bator away.
I try, I really do, but oh the thought of new chicks seems to be a weakness.
I admit it, I'm a hatching junkie. Now after this hatch I just can't put it away..I have spring eggs coming..what would be the point. What would I do in the evening if I'm not checking eggs for veining?
Now if only new pens would build themselves.

just had a very bad night. Had to put my 27 year old mare down. I had her for 16 of those years and she gave me 7 babies (only one was a filly that we still have). She was a fighter till the end but when she could no longer get up, it was time.![]()
