mmmmmm......pumpkin spice coffee.

I have a pound unopened of Dunkin donuts pumpkin spice and probably a half pound opened that I will trade you for some eggs

Also have a poundif strawberry shortcake coffee I will include for free.

Don't think I've tried their coffee. I only do pumpkin spice. I buy enough in the fall to last a whole year. yummy.

What kind of eggs we talking about?

Ok so now I am even confused.

I had a chick hatch that is kind of a mottled lav white yellow silver something, that came out of my WO egg. Hmmm... They have been a silvery white which is what they should be. So does this mean they are carrying some other type of gene. Yes, we all know I am genetically STUPID.

And before anyone asks, no they are not in a pen with anything else, never have been.

Sounds like you have some underlining genetic stuff there.

How bout them paint silkies I keep seeing? I need another breed like I need a hole to the head though. Those little fluffy chicks do kind of make me swoon, even if I don't want to admit it!!

I would say I even marked the egg wrong...but it doesn't look like a lav or splash with the pattern. But am curious to see...it is cute. Gonna see if I can get a good pic.

Oh, and my incubator is being shipped tomorrow!!! I didn't need the humidity pump did I? I figured the water tray would be enough if I am not hatching in it?

Take your pick. I have swaps to fill with the paints and the orps aren't laying yet.

Not at all. I don't use my water tray. I dry incubate with no problems.

I also had some lavs of mine and some orp that were shipped that I bought. Will have to inspect them all a little closer. Might not even be one of mine.

Have you candled any if the BCMs I sent you Hurley?

I just ran down and candled while tossing more eggs in the incubator. Looks like 2 developing (one with a wonky shaped air, the other normal). The others show 2 detached air cells, hard to tell but I don't see definitive development in the others. So hard with those dark shells. Will leave them all in there for now. Darn PO did a number on them. Grumble. Still miffed at them for leaving the box out on the curb instead of bringing it into the office like they do with any other box they deliver.

Sigh to your order of a Dickey. Can not wait to save up for a "real" incubator. Hopefully will have a Dickey or Sportsman by this time next year! Congratulations.
