Yeah, mine never last long... But since I NEVER get any real time to myself, I like to use the excuse to go paint my nails to go and take ten minutes to myself. I have nice nails, and i dont bite them, but I am too rough on them to grow them out. I do have a lot of nail polish though!

should have been more, several are laying every other day. I"m hoping to send at least 2 doz

Oh, WOW! I've been saving eggs from my marans/rock project cross, too, so I'll set them at the same time. Yay!!! More chickies!

I decided to treat all the birds with ivomectrin and was deciding whether or not to worry about withdrawal time.

We only made it through 5 pens (39 birds).

The push rod in the barrel of the syringe I was using was a little torqued, so it didn't slide easily. The first time the ivomec splashed back into my face, I just wiped it off. The second time when it splashed across my lips....................I thought, "well, I won't have worms and I don't have to worry about withdrawal time".

How do you worm with that? I think I have that here too.

I give my birds ceyanne pepper three or four times a month and wazine in the spring and fall and have never had a problem with worms (that I know of)

I don't think I am getting cockroaches (on purpose) any time soon,
but since getting into chickens, I have started looking at stinkbugs differently.
They invade our house in the winter and buzz clumsilly around, getting caught in my hair, dying in lightcovers & stinking up the place, very annoying... in the past.

but now...winter chicken snacks!!!!
