Question after seeing DMRippy's offer... I'm trying to understand the sex link thing with other colors besides black and red sex link.... How does the Blue Copper Marans over the barred female work?? Do you get the white dot on the male chicks head still?? and the females are blue chipmunk striped? Am I understanding this correctly?

I have Blue Cuckoo Marans and Blue and Black Coppers. So yes the Sex Linked roos will have a spot on their head and the pullets will be Blue/Black Copper Marans. The Cuckoo is ONLY passed to the roos and will have not effect on the pullets being pure Copper Marans. No chipmunk just solid blue or black at hatch.

That's unfortunate because all I will have are Gold Laced Brahmas and Norwegian Jaerhons...so if the Brahma aren't considered purebred - I'll have to stick with the Jaerhons for trading, and I don't know that I'll get a cockerel out of these eggs. I appreciate the information, though....ty for answering me. :]

We would accept Gold Laced Brahamas as a 1st offer. It no nor takes them and they are stuck up I'll take them.
