all but 1! 1 buff was infertile and 1 maran is iffy, all the others are kicking like crazy! can day 21 be here yet?!

are any of mine going strong?

I had to candle as well. I ended up feeding forty four eggs to the flock today. Mostly pekin eggs that I figured would be infertile by now, then one blood ring (not to the birds tho), and a cracked egg and several fresh ones that were too porous or weird to put in theincubator or fridge. After the MF leghorns,nothing will go into the bator for a while. From now until move, except one set of eggs, it'll be sales or fridge for all those eggs. I see pickled eggs for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack until we move, lol.

So I thought that I had a big bator now that I have my sportsman and then I talked to a neighbor that I just met who have an awesome far,. And he mentioned that I could always give him eggs to hatch out if I ever ran out of space. I was like that's nice but I have a 1502..... he's like oh okay we have two incubators that have trays that will hold 144 eggs each and each bator has 14 trays!

Bwahaha! A buddy of mine has some of those commercial incubators too! I'd be in trouble if I had just one, or anything bigger than the sportsman. I mean, really, if everything were perfect, we could hatch sixty eggs every week!

It is cold as heck outside. Had to run around and give everyone fresh water including the rabbits, collect eggs and give yummy treats. Spring isn't getting here quick enough for me. And I have 2 Bantam Orps laying now and I saw Sir George having his way with a hen yesterday!!! Now to test fertility.
