Got home and there were 144 unread post! Guess I'm going to have to quit my job so I can keep up.....

Hope everyone had a good day, from what I have read so far, some have and some not. So sorry for bad things. Happy to all with good news.

Can anyone tell me how to discipline a naughty Silkie Rooster? I have had him since he was an egg, but in the last week he has decided he is going to peck me when I gather the eggs. He has not flogged me, just pecked. (But it still HURTs) I want him to stop before he gets more aggressive.

Any Ideas????

I sent eggs out yesterday going to Kentucky and Missouri and they went 170 miles northeast first.

It is no wonder they are going broke. I think the main thing they need is some new management and leadership, might turn things around. sorry, didn"t mean to rant, just makes me

my poor little eggs....

really don't get too frustrated. I ship to NC, SC and other parts of the east coast. They leave my town, head north to lexington then west to Louisville then east??????? They used to fly out of Lexington then east, not now. Or at least that is what they used to show.

I had a polish that was a bit on the protective side. I did a couple of things...first walk in with a big ole plastic rake..works great to keep him away from you. Next thing I did was catch the bugger and held him head down until he would submit and then held him longer to be sure he wouldn't try to fight again. Repeat, repeat, repeat. He eventually stopped, but I always have the rake to eliminate the possibilities from beginning now

Ya gotta give 'em this though. The rural letter-carriers are more
considerate than their urban counterparts. All of the packages
marked "Fragile" are thrown underhanded in the rural stations.

They've closed down a lot of the smaller sort centers so that EVERYTHING now goes to a handful of major centers and shipped from there. Pretty much everything in our neck of the woods is going to go to Warrendale before it goes anywhere else.
